The RuBrides site looks strange and it’s challenging to use it. Although the design is minimalistic, it’s not what you expect to see in the second decade of the XXI century. It looks old and hard to navigate.

The RuBrides dating site has a limited number of communication tools. In fact, you don’t have what to choose from. Take a look at the offered features:

• Messenger. You should be prepared for the total absence of emojis and stickers. You can only attach a photo and exchange messages with a woman. I chatted with 3 girls, but I wasn’t impressed by this tool because it’s kind of boring.
• Video chat. In case you want to take communication to the next level, picking a webcam connection may be a good choice. Check whether a lady is available for a call and send her an invitation. If you want to have a conversation with someone new, it’s necessary to start with texting first. This feature seems confusing to me because of all those messages and confirmations.
• Contact info. You can request such details to connect with her outside the site. However, I didn’t try this option and didn’t even figure out which data becomes available because you have to write 15 letters or spend at least 180 minutes in chat with a member. 
• Real gifts. It’s a nice option because you can impress your virtual girlfriend with a present delivered to her door. I understand that those things are offered because of the war in this beautiful country, but still.
